Tim Watson Through his New
Orleans company, Ariel Montage, Tim Watson
has worked as an editor, producer, and
script writer. His editing credits include
Member Of The Club (2008), a look
at the African-American debutante tradition
in
New Orleans; By Invitation Only (2006,
co-produced with director Rebecca Snedeker),
which aired on many PBS stations and won
several film festival awards; A Player
To Be Named Later (2005, co-producer),
which aired on many PBS stations; Desire (2005,
co-produced with director Julie Gustafson),
which was selected by Al Gore
for the “Reel Current” documentary
award at the Nashville Film Festival; and
Shalom Y'All (2002 co-writer),
which won festival awards, aired on Sundance
Channel
and many PBS stations.
Producer-Director:
Jason Berry of New Orleans is renowned
for his pioneering investigative reports
on clergy sexual abuse. Lead Us Not
Into Temptation (1992) is still used in many
newsrooms. Berry has worked as a consultant
for ABC News and been widely interviewed
in the national media. Vows of Silence (2004) grew out of an assignment with Gerald
Renner in the Hartford Courant, for which
the authors received the 1998 Theodore
Driscoll Investigative Award from the Connecticut
Chapter of the Society of Professional
Journalists. Berry was offair reporter
on Frontline’s 1992 Who Is David
Duke? His other works include Last
of the Red Hot Poppas, a novel about Louisiana
politics, and Earl Long in Purgatory, which
won a 2002 Big Easy Award for best original
work of theater. |
